“Critical” isn’t a bad word.

Being Critical means questioning what you hear/read/see and not necessarily agreeing with it just because the information has been published/printed/widely believed.

Being critical can also mean looking for reasons why we should not just accept something as being correct or true.

This can require you to identify problems.

We need to develop habits of constructive thinking.

Constructive criticism also means suggesting ways in which things could be improved.

point 2. more tolerant

There are so many problems that you see/read/hear of, and have to stand, like govt corruption, a big divide between the rich and the poor, ineffective education, unfair civil service examination, unsafe contaminated foods, high prices, etc.

Be tolerant of other people, and yourself.

Do you set very high standards for yourself, and have a strong sense of 'right and wrong'? Do you constantly strive for 'perfection'? Do you blame yourself and feel bad if you make mistakes?

Does tolerance mean that you should tolerate everything?

being tolerant of the rights of others does not mean that we should tolerate all kinds of behaviors.

build a harmonious society

what really make the society advance?

How to Be Tolerant of Others

Tips

Remember the Golden Rule: "Treat others how you would like to be treated."

Warnings

No matter how intolerant you are, you will never change the way a person is by hating them.

Nobody will just go away, they are here on this earth as you are.

Things You'll Need to be be more tolerant

Respect

Understanding

Open/broad mind

Open heart

Why should we be tolerant?

We all fall into error and get things wrong sometimes, because we are human.

We are all unique individuals, and what is 'right' for someone else is not necessarily right for us.

being tolerant can improve your life; make it easy

you will gain new understanding; get along with other people.
