Terri Schiavo (1963-2005)was an American woman who suffered from severe brain damage and was kept alive for 15 years. She died on 31 April 2005, 13 days after her feeding tube was removed, drawing worldwide attention to the issues of the right to live and the right to die.

New Hampshire 新罕布什尔 is currently considering a bill on assisted suicide

Active euthanasia, commonly referred simply as euthanasia, is only legal in:

Belgium 比利时(in 2002)
